American lawyer and volunteer Eric Putzig, Doctor honoris causa of Lesya Ukrainka National University, gave a lecture for syudents of the specialty "Law Enforcement Activity"

On November 11, 2025, a guest lecture by American lawyer, volunteer, and founder of the Build Ukraine Democracy organization, Eric Putzig, on the topic "Law Enforcement Activities in the USA" was held at the Faculty of Law of the Lesya Ukrainka Volyn National University.

During the meeting, the lecturer spoke about the specifics of the work of law enforcement agencies at the federal, state, county, and city levels, explained the differences between police officers and sheriffs, outlined the key functions and specifics of the activities of the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI), the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA), the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms, and Explosives (ATF), and others.

Students of 1st-3rd years of specialty 262/K9 "Law Enforcement Activity" actively participated in the discussion, asking questions about the organization of the service, training, and ethical standards of police officers in the United States.


At the end, the students thanked Eric Putzig for an interesting, informative, and interactive lecture that allowed them to deepen their understanding of the work of the American law enforcement system and its values.
