How to write a successful motivational letter? 

Advice from Yehor Stadny, ex-deputy minister of education. 

The letter should contain:

 Your interest. It needs to be explained.

Your expectations from the university.

Your achievements, strengths.

Your weaknesses.

Consider the motivation letter as a negotiation between you and the university.

At the stage of preparation, it is worth doing a detailed analysis and research of the university you are considering (read student reviews, ask where you can get a job after this university). 

These studies can be used in point 2 - expectations from the university.

You need to realize why you need a higher education. 

In the motivation letter, you should pay attention to why you need higher education in general.

Your achievements must coincide with the chosen profession (if you are entering, for example, at PRAVO, then achievements in geography are inappropriate here).

Do not write off the motivation letter.

One letter of motivation for all universities will not work. 

A separate letter for each university.

You cannot write a motivational letter on the last night. 

Write first as a draft. Then reread it the next day, see if your thoughts are consistent. 

The vocabulary of the letter should not include any exclamations, emotional sentences.

Volumes - they will be written in the admission rules of a particular university.

Don't be dry. You should clearly outline your opinion. 

There should be no errors in the letter. You can have someone read your letter, for example, for evaluation.

You can write which group mates you expect to meet.
